How is the crotch cut atrocious?  It looks like every other swimsuit and has more coverage than half of mine.  Wear shorts if you don't like it.  But to act like it is a vulgar bathing suit is ridiculous.[/quote]

I didn't say vulgar, I should have said bungled.  This isn't right:

This is going for the minimal hidden elastic look, newish in swimwear, but they've cut the leg with a slight undulating curve, which doesn't work.  Scroll through suits on Net-a-Porter, you won't see any making this mistake--there's a variety of cuts: high, low, narrow, wide, but the leg opening is always a simple convex curve, stretch fabric needs support. You won't see this at a tried-and-true brand like Lands' End either.  It's the mark of a striver, they want to do luxury for less, but they didn't hire the right person.
