The focus on these artificial hierarchies and reifying them with our attention and emotional energy is a major part of the problem in our western patriarchal capitalist construct.

We need to embrace students and communities wherever and whoever they are without defining them according to how they are ranked in a publication owned by a far off billionaire.  Their value is not found on a list.[/quote]
