Is she playing the long game with him- trying to keep him in love with her so that he will be disposed to help her in bigger ways? Or does she know or think that HE is playing the long game and is going to blow up Gilead, in a way that the viewer doesn’t? If I were June I wouldn’t be ok with him pulling strings to keep me alive while looking the other way while innocent people are pushed off of buildings and shot in the streets.
