I'm 43, 5'2" and 117. I've been between 110 and 119 for the last 25 years (other than 2 pregnancies). The only time I've "dieted" was eating slightly less for a few weeks before my wedding. But, before kids I worked out 6 days a week for 20 years and now I do 4 days a week plus walks. Yesterday I ate: - A scrambled egg with half a slice of bread. Coffee with milk. - A small midmorning snack that I don't recall (typical e.g. half a homemade granola bar or leftover fruit from my kids) - Lunch was a salad with leftover chicken and roasted veggies, with half an avocado and some thousand island dressing - Snack of popcorn and watermelon - Dinner was butter chicken with about 3/4 cup rice and green beans (it wasn't enough dinner, actually) - Some M&Ms for dessert. I eat a real dessert a couple times a week. Have a drink a couple times a week. We do pizza once a week (I eat 2-3 slices). We don't eat out much, which helps a lot. I think that putting in the decades of working out and maintaining basically the same weight for all this time helps me be more flexible with my diet now. In the last year, we've tried to be less carb-y, such as eating a salad instead of a sandwich and pasta only once a week but that's mostly to help my husband lose weight. :-)
