It's for the same reason I have a cleaning person - to save time. Yes, I could do my own research and choose my own investments, but I prefer to spend my time with my family and have a professional do it. I don't actually have any issues with discipline/will power as far as finances (eating cookies, that's another story). [/quote] +1. As our income has increase and assets have become more diversified, there are an increasing number of factors to consider in each of our investment decisions. Having someone else who takes what is ultimately a very small amount of money relative to our assets to save us the time and effort of researching everything is worth it to us. It’s like anything else you might outsource, like home remodeling.[/quote]
