What is the point of discussing Chris’ ignorance about the financial situation? This is coming uncomfortably close to justifying or rationalizing his actions. He murdered his family, so her spending habits are completely irrelevant. He has no case.
Love this sub because you can see things from so many different viewpoints about a crazy high profile murder. CW is a murderer in the worst definition of the word. Murdered his pregnant spouse in their bed and then murdered his tiny toddler girls one by one and did horrific things to dump the bodies. He is the only one to blame for those atrocities. No one is saying otherwise. But the entire cast of characters and side stories are both horrifying, crazy and thought inducing. Nothing is ever what it seems. And every new detail is weirder than the next. There’s a reason true crime is so popular. People are interested by psychology and the intricacies of human behavior. And understanding the WHYs behind the things people do. I don’t think you can discuss this case without discussing what kind of person Shanann was. If you’re going to discuss a case, how can you NOT discuss the events leading up to it??
+1 Exactly. Contextualization is not justification.
