I didn’t mean to make it sounds like that. Its hard when you are surrounded by kids and parents who think only a score of 1500 plus is acceptable and worthy for applying to your state flagships or even some selective schools. My DD knows girls who complained that they only got a 1560 and have to take the SAT again. Then you hear of high stats TJ kids getting rejected from their state flagships and you wonder what will become of my Kid who has a 1400. [/quote]

I’m the one with the kid and didn’t take it that way at all. I agree that it seems reading DCURBANMOM that you need crazy high scores to get in anywhere. The problem is people posting in this forum are probably more likely than not parents with kids who are high flyers - though are considered average among their peers. I’m really proud of my Ds 1370- as a senior in CoVID she could only take it once.  I would have never gotten her score and I have a pretty good life :).[/quote]
