PP here.  That's the first time I have made such a comment so you are confusing me with some other anonymous poster :-).  You are correct - but that doesn't make me wrong either.

Some clubs have integrity - no need to discuss clubs by name - but some will play it straight and just take the best kids.  Others will play political games as you posit.  Nevertheless even, or perhaps especially, the political clubs want to win - and will take any kid back no matter the past if that kid is truly exceptional.

If the kid is just average for his current team then leaving is obviously riskier.[/quote]
