Besides the obvious damage that they can do to people, I also really hate this about the breed. Ok, so it's good in the home. What is it like with other dogs? I had a neighbor who rescued pits and several of them attacked neighborhood dogs, including my own on more than one occasion. An unleashed pit bull running at you at full speed is terrifying and trying to pull one off your dog even worse. One of them attacked my dog and it was so awful multiple neighbors called the police to report a dog fight. My dog only made it out because he was 95 lbs so had a shot at fighting for his life. The same dog went on to kill a small terrier before being put down. Screw that, who wants a dog that can't play nicely with other dogs? I keep my current dog far away from them on walks. [/quote]
