I think they're invoking "white privilege" in that a lot of whites really don't grasp what the world is like for very poor, inner city black kids. A lot of whites from a certain class/economic background (including myself until I worked with kids who got initially a bad roll of the life dice) have a lot of trouble fathoming any kid that age being capable of committing a very adult crime. I wouldn't take PP personally.[/quote]
