How is it acceptable for a teacher to be at the playground chilling with a preschooler on a day she is supposed to be at work? (1) She's not at work and (2) Her child should be in daycare. She obviously decided to save the daycare costs this year and just slack off.[/quote]

Teachers were explicitly told that they did not need to arrange for childcare this year.  This teacher playing with her child on a Monday morning is only doing what the school board laid out. She is not going above and beyond, but she is not required to be tethered to her computer on Monday's.

If you are upset, feel free to reach out to the school board.   They are the ones that said this was what school would be for 2020-21.  Not this random teacher. [/quote]
