My mom is 5'5 and my dad is 5'9, but his sisters are petite. It was hardly anything I ever had to "make the best of". The biggest hardship I endured was adjusting the driver's seats of various models of cars, often suffering through suboptimal comfort and visibility. Thankfully my short stature didn't stunt my earning power too much, and I could eventually afford cars that comfortably fit both me and my 6'3 husband. Oh also hemmed jeans never looked good but petite denim has come a long way.[/quote]
