Franklin Park, Langley Forest, and Langley Farm are nice. The rest of McLean is a ****hole.
Do tell, idiot.
Aww is someone sad that their neighborhood was insulted? Why don’t you get down on your knees and cry at the sky you little whiner.
I think the PP is just pointing out that you don't really need to be that crass (and untrue) and that it doesn't sound like you really know too much about McLean in general. Guarantee you live in Springfield or someplace like that. OP's budget doesn't allow for Langley area, nothing under $3.5m right now. I checked earlier in the thread. Well, except PP's house which isn't on the market yet.
Actually I split by time between my house in DC and my house in Albemarle County. Not Springfield "or someplace like that", but cute attempt to get all upset that I insulted McLean and then retaliate by insulting Springfield, where I don't even live. You can get down on your knees and cry at the sky as well. Also, I know plenty about McLean considering I grew up in the area, am a third generation Washingtonian, and I watched as McLean transformed from a lovely suburb to a cheaply constructed McMansion hell.
People are weirdly proud of never leaving an area or going elsewhere. You're really hostile, why are you polluting a thread that's mainly people trying to help the OP? I think you're part of the reason so many people tend to dislike the area. I have no idea where Albemarle County is, nor do I care. Then again, I'm not a "third generation Washingtonian", not even a third (or first) generation American. But I do own one of those expensive crappy McMansions in McLean, so I can speak to OP's questions about the neighborhoods. To add to the horror, the builder tore down a 60s bungalow a couple of years that was on an acre and built it. He did have the decency to leave the old trees though.
