He's also the incumbent.

MoCo voters are a lot more left-populist than DCUM commentators. The vast majority support very cautious reopening measures, based on what I see. He definitely caters to that group, which seems to be the silent majority. I think most people will be okay with him since he's for a baseline of Not Killing People.[/quote]

I don't disagree.  But FWIW, I'm a liberal.  And I voted for him in the primary; he was my guy.

But even though I share many of his values, I see now that he's incapable of executing competently.  He can talk the talk very well, but leading a large entity, like our county, his beyond his abilities.

And given this pandemic, my priorities have shifted from matching to someone on ideology, to someone who has general competence.

So, I won't vote for him this time, and will (hopefully) vote for Blair  [/quote]
