This is why teachers want to be vaccinated before return and luckily in Loudoun that’s the case. Until you’ve spent winter with hacking kids who are sweating out a fever and can barely keep their eyes open but whose parent made them come to school, or a staff guzzling lemon tea and asking classes to be quiet because they’re pushing through a sick day. you probably don’t get that teachers are heavily discouraged from taking sick days because it’s a burden on the school staff to cover and parents don’t keep kids home for the same reason.
