she's not a bad person because she disagrees with my opinions. she's a bad person because:
she's a racist;

she harassed and threatened teens;

she threatened and promoted violence against elected officials and political opponents;

she supported seditionists;

she wanted to force muslims to swear on the bible;

she refused to wear a mask in a crowded room, threatening the health of her colleagues and congressional staffers.

This! She’s uneducated white trash.
Well, while this is true, she’s also a product of where the GOP has taken us since the 80s. Strip away public education funding, undercut social safety nets making people - especially poor / middle class people - feel vulnerable and insecure, encourage outsourcing and offshoring (though denying it) thereby eviscerating local economies, and all the while blaming black people, Latinos, “liberals”, and “elites”. The GOP has also been masterful with the “look, squirrel” deflection tactic that helps to shield the real beneficiaries of their policies from attention. Whether it was Clinton’s affair with Lewinsky, so-called gun rights, abortion, “welfare queens”, and in recent times Benghazi, HRC’s emails, etc - it’s all to foment fear and divert attention from the fact that corporate America and the uber rich are dictation policies that actually hurt Americans. Like healthcare reform - the only beneficiaries of our current system are for-profit healthcare companies. But the GOP waves the threat of “socialism” around. Anywho.... that’s how you end up with ignorant, hateful a-holes like MTG.
