Are CARES classrooms in person learning? It's just overseen virtual learning. I was not aware that could be counted as in person learning.
Won't in person learning be the same as CARES? Yes the teacher will actually be in the room with students but they'll still be teaching from a computer at their desk. At least from the model I saw.
Not at Hearst. It’s babysitting. Kids are still in their virtual classes but are sitting in a CARES classroom. So kids are next to each other but learning virtually on their laptops different things. Not sure how it is at other schools. This is criminal. The Hearst principal, DCPS and any parent group that approved this without floating it to the rest of us parents should resign their spots. Why even bother polling the parents if you aren’t going to make any attempt at doing the right thing. And the teachers, don’t even get me started. Get back in the classroom already and do the right thing. Which ever PP above used the word “farce” Is 100% right. The Hearst plan is a joke.
