I have friends who are all over the US, and a few are actually on their local school board. Nobody is sitting around laughing at FCPS. They are too busy dealing with their own quarantines, closings and opposing factions. I know the #openfcps are desperate to bully the SB and teachers into opening regardless of the percent positive cases in the area, but it's is absolutely ridiculous to imply anyone has time to pick apart what FCPS is doing. They are taking a cursory look at other school systems and superintendents across the nation do touch base with eachother. This is an extremely complicated issue around the world and it is simplistic to say "well in Alabama they did and it worked great" without actually knowing the ins and outs, number of quarantines, impact on teachers, and so forth.[/quote]
