I can barely stand 20+ hours of plane travel. I would NEVER subject children to that (and I've taken my kids all over the world)
It’s just 2.5 hours past Hawaii. People take kids to Hawaii all the time. If my kids could handle the 10.5 hour car ride home from Canada, I feel like they could handle the flights to Bora Bora—especially if we break it up in CA.
No, it isn't. It's around 6 hrs. https://www.travelmath.com/flying-time/from/Honolulu,+HI/to/Tahiti
LAX to HNL is blocked for 5 hours and 55 minutes, LAX to PPT is blocked for 8 hours and 10 minutes.
We flew from Chicago ORD and it was absolutely more like 22 hours given the layovers. There is no way that it's just 2.5 hours past Hawaii. Maybe distance wise but the way the flight patterns are - your layover is not working like that. It is a HAUL! I'm the PP who went there for honeymoon.
