I'm doing this now (5'4"/135, trying to get back down to my pre-Covid weight of 125). I'm generally a big eater but am doing okay on 1200 - I haven't really felt hungry or deprived. This has been the past two days of eating for me. Yesterday: 6 ounces greek yogurt with 3 ounces raspberries for breakfast. 1 whole wheat tortilla filled with 2 tablespoons hummus and chopped cucumber/cherry tomato dressed in lemon and salt, plus one apple, for lunch. 4 ounces seared tuna steak with a huge amount of stir fried veggies (zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, and peppers - cooked in a wok over high heat with a drizzle of olive oil and some seasoning) for dinner. Day before yesterday: Apple for breakfast. 6 ounces greek yogurt with 3 ounces blueberries for lunch (wasn't that hungry). A bowl for dinner containing 1 cup cooked quinoa, 1/2 cup roasted chickpeas (chickpeas, garlic salt, olive oil spray), a lot of roasted cauliflower and carrots (za'taar, salt, olive oil spray), 1 lamb sausage (3 ounces) cut into coins, and a drizzle of olive oil. I have also been consciously drinking water before every meal and throughout the day and drink black coffee in the morning. I make green tea or a cup of coffee if I want a snack, and if I'm still hungry afterward (not usually), I'll eat fruit or 15 grams of almonds. Soup also helps. I sometimes supplement a meal with a light soup (chicken broth, soy sauce, and shiitake mushrooms), which adds some bulk and keeps me full.
