Obviously all new additions to a household will have an adjustment period but there is a big difference between getting a puppy and an adult dog. We dog sat for several years before we adopted out own puppy. Thi can be a good solution to having a dog in your life part time without having ll of the stresses. Even tugh people are not traveling now, perhaps a neighbor has a dog that they would like to have come visit your house for a few hours a day.[/quote]
