DCU is a bad example. Baltimore Armour/SAC and Bethesda are Pipeline's top competition in DMV for boys. Virginia is far behind all of these. Not even on the same field really.

As for girls, it may be the opposite. Will be interesting to see how the 06s and 05s hold up now that they have to play good teams. The 07s are Pipeline's worst group for top tier. The 08s and 09s are going to blow up and lose players after Spring. A lot of unhappy parents and in house arguing on both of those teams.

Seems MD girls teams cannot compete against Virginia girls with the exception MD United. Bethesda only has two years of good teams and they are about to blow up as well. Baltimore Armour Girls is the Metro United of MD. Celtic Union isn't much better.

Compare that to McLean, FCV and Loudoun not to mention VDA and Arlington. It's not even close.
