I'm sure there will be a point when we can look at a kitchen with grey or light blue shaker shaker cabinets and know roughly when the install happened.  :)

I feel like we see cycles where a style/color/trend emerges among professional designers, then gets picked up by design-savvy homeowners (like people here!), then moves into the blogger/influencer world, and lastly into the mass market. So while a lot of people in this forum probably stopping decorating with grey years ago, there are still people loving their grey kitchens (and the new construction builders are still installing them in tract homes). I don't think the Ryan Homes, KHov, or Pulte type builders are doing light blue yet, but perhaps that's next.

But, really, if someone loves light blue, I don't think they should feel any shame in using a color that makes them happy in their kitchen! [/quote]
