They would have probably not made it with a lottery system anyway.  What is your point?  17 Blacks are projected to be admitted in expectation with the lottery.  If you know any statistics, it means there is a good chance less than 6 are admitted.  Especially, if other people apply more.  17 is based on all qualified people applying.  Are you implying they would be happier and more likely to accept with greater White proportion?  Because that is more likely than not to happen.  Law of large numbers and many many more Whites in the qualified pool.    [/quote]

Lack of blacks is a problem.  Perpetuating white dominance is more of a problem that negatively affects all minorities.

Think long term and big picture.  In addition, even if the 17 blacks are admitted, they may make similar calculations and decide not to come to TJ.  [/quote]
