I am with you in not carrying stuff around with me, and I knew when it happened that it didn't/wouldn't personally affect me in the way it affected other people. Even at the time, people (who didn't lose anyone they knew) were saying nothing would ever be the same for them. The closest I personally was to it was an acquaintance's dad died, which is very sad, but I felt the same level of sad for her as I would have if he had died in a car crash, etc.. I can move on easily from an acquaintance's dad dying in a car crash and 9-11 was the same for me. [/quote]
