[/quote] You *can* begin then. The advice is not that you are "supposed to" begin then, just that you can. Especially for families without any history of food allergies, there's nothing wrong with waiting until 6-months. Baby doesn't necessarily need complementary foods until 6-months, and it may be easier on the family to do baby-led weaning at that time as opposed to starting earlier. [/quote]
