If you redshirted your daughter She would be turning 7 3 months after starting K... that is insane[/quote] Its about the parents, not about the kids. Kids need support, supplementing from parents. Most parents want to hand their kids off to school and not be bothered. Parenting is too much of a burden for them so they'd prefer to raise "independent" kids.[/quote]
