I'm expecting my first and starting a registry and getting things for the baby. I have ideas of what I want but would love feedback about if the items are worth it? Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers? The best diapers we used (and we tried many brands over the years w 2 babies) were pampers swaddlers but best wipes we found were pampers pure Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play? We have a basic graco pack n play (the older cheapest version...I think it’s called “on the go”) We only wanted it/used it for travel sleep occasionally (my parents and in laws both have a pack n play they keep at their houses for visits and their houses are the main places we went w a baby so we rarely needed to take our own pnp with us on trips). It was more than adequate. If I planned to use the pnp more often for sleep or as a playpen (we never did this), I’d get a nicer playard. Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer. We had a cheap fisher price bouncer and it was just fine-great for our needs (occasional safe place to put baby while we went to the bathroom or cooked or something like that when baby needed to be safely contained for short period of time.) but the baby Bjorn bouncers are a nicer design and do transition to a toddler seat as well and that could be nice to have. UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system? We had a britax travel system but the uppa baby is very nice so I can see it being worth it if you plan to use your travel system/stroller a lot. We live in the suburbs and did a lot of stroller walks but didn’t need anything fancy as a travel system. If you live in the city and plan to use your stroller as your main mode of transporting baby, I’d maybe go with something nicer like the uppa baby. Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine? Love the keekaroo although obviously a cheaper changing pad is also just fine as well. Anyone else paying more for GreenGuardGold Certified nursery furniture? our nursery furniture—crib, changing table, dresser, bookshelf—was mostly from IKEA. The only nicer quality items we got were an organic crib mattress and glider/ottoman from a nice local furniture store. All of it held up just fine. Crib and changing table have each been used by 3 babies now and still going strong.
