Maybe I am smug. Okay, sure I am smug. But why are you all buying this now, and not in April? Have your kids not been at a desk so far?
Well, my one very stubborn kid fought me like crazy on buying a desk. He wanted to sit on the couch with a card table. He finally gave in and I was able to buy the desk. My middle school child has a desk that’s part of her furniture. However it’s very very small… Think little kids desk. She had been looking online for a desk and I had to convince her to get some thing that wasn’t going to cost me $700. Started our serious looking in mid July and as of last week have desks and new comfortable chairs for both kids to sit in. NoW I don’t have kids in my kitchen, dining room and family room sprawled out with their work everywhere.
