Nobody is making $100k tutoring. They still have day jobs. They’re not teaching pods. If they can work 5 hours a week on evenings making a little extra cash, what’s the problem?[/quote]

I don’t know, one teacher I spoke to said they had a 3 hour a day gig at $80 an hour, 5 days a week.

The issue is that it’s far more lucrative to focus on that than on teaching your DCPS class.

They are not waiving IMPACT this year so the teacher can’t really choose to focus on the pod, unless they want a low impact rating.  It’s going to be much harder to “fake it” during an observation when it’s all online etc. [/quote]
