Our charter released its ECE schedule, and it has live sessions in the early morning and in the later morning, with more optional activities in the afternoon. I am waiting to find out what "the minimum" is, and then will try to do that, while maintaining my current childcare arrangements. I don't think it's a good move for my DD to take her out of daycare so she can watch strangers on a screen. If that means we lose the charter spot, so be it.
Could you do both? It costs you nothing to keep the charter spot. If possible, shift one parent's schedule to cover morning meeting and drop off at daycare. Tell the teacher's DC hates virtual learning and get the course work from them to practice at home. it's like letters, numbers, etc so your kid will learn that at daycare anyway.
