We still heard it very well as well as several other generators and we fully supported them.  If you don't like the noise, close your windows and find some white noise.  After 8 hours our fridge was not cold when we opened it and would not have lasted much longer.  As it was, I still had to pitch half of our stuff  as it wasn't frozen anymore and we couldn't eat up all the food even with the help of our neighbors.  There was no ice to be found around here (nor generators or we would have gotten one).  You are very selfish.  All of the neighbors who had one offered a line for a fridge to whom ever was closest to them who didn't have a generator - a few neighbors got several offers (none of our next door had one).  When we get a generator we will absolutely share and our neighbors fully support it.[/quote]
