You're also allowed to do outdoor activities while quarantining in Maine, if you're not coming in close contact with others.[/quote] You are correct that going into a grocery store violates the Maine quarantine. But there's no enforcement, and this activity does not actually put anyone at risk. Dining inside a restaurant does. Leisurely browsing shops is not necessary. Maine needs tourist dollars. [/quote]
