I've never understood this either. They go to all this effort to pick exactly 5 of one type of medicine out. I'm wondering why they can't just go down the aisle flicking five of each different product intro their cart. [/quote]

There has to be a limit for type of item.  Look at the meat section--they always get 5 turkeys, 5 hams, 5 salamis, 5 blocks of cheese.  I don't even know what else is there because nobody ever gets anything else, but there has to be something in between.  I have spent way too much time in the age of the internet trying to find the "rules," and all I've found is the $25 penalty for not putting dropped items back, and another penalty for getting more than 5.
