OP - this really varies. I work from an agency and hire companies to help us with these reviews. We run reports pretty regularly that track docs/hours. We also track overturns.  We remove people from the doc review team if they fail to meet metrics. [/quote]

Why?  If you're productive and doing a good job, you're fine.  My team runs these reports out of Relativity daily, and they go to the law firm client and/or the client whose documents you are reviewing.  If everyone else is reviewing 50 docs/hour with a 5% overturn rate, why should we keep someone doing 30 docs/hour with a 20% overturn rate?  I assume you don't pay full price for services that take longer than promised and are not done in a quality manner?  It's no different for review clients.

Every contract attorney review we've outsourced has had at least one reviewer removed from it - my favorite was the one who couldn't stop reading the documents to for evidence of their own personal conspiracy theories rather than the actual review criteria.[/quote]
