Comparing any public school to a private one is just silly. Of course you are getting what you want- that's why you are paying for it. But it doesn't really mean anything about Basis or any other public school. [/quote]

Of course it means something about BASIS and other DC public schools.

It means that our public schools offer parents such limited choice that ambitious families like ours with GT learners are often driven to seek greener pastures, particularly minority families.
