I had a hard time understanding Blake Lively as Serena in the beginning of the show. The main character was talking about how unbelievably beautiful she was in the beginning and I just couldn't buy it. But then I got into the show and started to kind of see it. It made me a fan of Blake Lively, although I still think she has that sort of face that I can't figure out if it's very plain or very beautiful. Same with Gwyneth Paltrow. Hmm interesting- I thought she was stunning in the show (helped along by her amazing body and wardrobe).  I could imagine every man in a room staring at her and I thought she played the part really well.  [/quote]

And I don't find her even remotely attractive - although her body is amazing and the wardrobe on the show was awesome.

I think what helps her is this ideal of long, blonde hair. It apparently makes everyone attractive.[/quote]
