They entered other rooms of the house first. He was likely sleeping when they showed up at the front door, and was awakened once they entered the house. By the time they reached his room, he was awake and standing up.

And his room was booby-trapped. And he was prohibited from posessing firearms yet he had a slew of them.

Who's more likely at fault here? The person with the booby-trapped room, illegally posessing firearms, or the police? You think the police hatched some plan to murder this guy? Why bother? Then they get stuck under many reviews and desk duty. No cop wants that.[/quote]
