I think this is what people are afraid will happen. The good schools (top 100) will be able to fill their class in fall 2021 by going to the waitlist if half the class defers. They won't take a financial hit. The 2021 students will. Less competitive colleges won't have this option. But the top 100 or 200 will. [/quote]
