That is only 17 teams.  The other 58 of the top 75 teams play in ECNL.  Let me ask you a couple simple questions:

Is 58 more than, less than, or equal to 17?

Is ECNL thus greater than, less than, or equal to GAL?

Nothing screams loser quite as loudly as clinging to rankings of other clubs, teams and players in the hope that your kid is somehow equivalent to top talent. Top talent is top talent regardless of where they play. This is the classic happy bottom quarter that ivies put in their freshman classes to keep donations pouring in. They are not the ones who are going to be the biggest donors in their class. Those are the most Talented at the top. You think they talk about going to Harvard or being in the Ivy League?  Uh, no. Elite talent does not need the bumper sticker or the t-shirt. Have fun preening away, and when recruiters come around, don’t bother with the highlight reels - just tell them your kid is playing in the ECNL and see how far that goes. Weak weak weak. [/quote]
