There are plenty. Stop making excuses. How do you not have a laptop as a teacher?
I didn’t get a laptop issued by my district until my 6th year of teaching. And we only got them because of a grant. Some teachers I work with still don’t have one.
You’d be surprised how many people in IT don’t have all the infrastructure at home to everything they do at work. My brother was at the store and the owner of a 40 person IT company was incredulous that he was having to buy WiFi cards for some employees.
Most it companies provide a computer. And reimburse for WiFi or cell phone or both if you work at home. If they don’t work at home, why would they have that set up but I think it’s strange not to have a computer or iPad at that level. You don’t buy WiFi cards. He was probably buying a hot spot or modem/ router. Mcps teachers get them but most of the teachers we have had bring their own because the chrome books are slow new and after a few years really slow. Not sure the love for them.
