This is weird because it doesn't look like anyone has posted but it's in recent posts.

Anyway, we set up 2 boards, with pieces and dice and houses and hotels  on both sides, but only put the cards on the "home" board.

Kid in hospital and parent with them have a white board where we keep track of money, and properties.  We just add and subtract on the board, although I guess we could have money.  If someone moves on one side, they just tell the other side and they move the equivalent piece.  If they land on chance, or community chest, the person at home just reads the card to them.

We could probably sort out how to play with just one board, but Child Life had one, and there was one at home so we didn't bother.

Kid is home now, and we still play the same way with cousins.  Cousins are younger, so we let them have the cards and the actual paper money and our house plays like it's the hospital.  [/quote]
