Trump is a capitalist, and unapologetically so. He doesn't need to justify how or why he lives in a lavish way compared with the rest of the country - he runs based on other strengths and policies. Whether you or I agree with them or not is irrelevant.

Bernie is running on the idea that the wealthy being wealthy is disgusting and wrong, and that everyone should have the same amount of wealth. That's what socialism is. He can't have a vacation home - his third home! - that costs more than most people's first homes, even if you ignore all the people who are homeless in this country. It's so ridiculous that it's actually laugh-out-loud funny.[/quote]

He's not a socialist or a communist he's a democratic socialist. Look up the definitions of political terms before using then to smear. I don't want the u.s. to become socialist bit the reality is it won't. I do think it needs to be a lot more socialist than it is now. Capitalism is driving us to the brink of a dictatorial oligarchy. That's just as bad as a dictator emerging from socialism.
