Will be is the key word, and while they're playing catch up, Teslas will continue to improve. 
It's just like when the iPhone came out....it took a long time before the other companies caught up with the technology. We'll see how long it takes the car companies to catch up with Tesla, especially when it comes to the charging network. [/quote]

This is our dilemma.  The Jaguar and Audi models are already out and doesn't even compare from a range perspective (haven't driven it yet).  I doubt Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, or Volvo will be able to catch up either.  By the time their cars are launched, Tesla will be light years ahead...and even if we buy today, the software updates improve the care automatically.[/quote]
