GFR does not have enough good 06 or 07 players to field a strong team. They are hanging around at some of the older ages and the 05 team looks promising. Since there is not a pattern of moving on to a more challenging -- travel, cost, competition -- and high level league at this club (unlike McLean, BRYC, FCV, etc. where for years the families have seen the "next level" as something to aspire to) I wonder how many of the good kids even are thinking they want to play DA.  Not because they can't, but because they haven't been a system that made them prepared for the opportunity.  Perhaps that's why few 06/07s moved to MU?  Even if the entire teams are not amazing, surely there were some players who could have?[/quote]
