Good for the credit too.[/quote] In general, auto loans are straight interest, which means that if you pay it off early, you're still paying the interest you would have paid if you'd taken the full 2 years (or 5 years, or whatever) to pay it off. Just get the best offer, tell them you're paying cash, and if they balk, ask if they want to sell you the car or not, because you're not changing your mind.[/quote]
