Meh. Bunch of boring talk here. Arguing for argument's sake. When are any of you going to ACTUALLY do something with your kid to change the system?
When are you? Or did you already? If so, what?
We are moving overseas next year.
Why? Where are you going?
Germany (Munich). We are moving for work reasons, but the change in football was a big consideration and helped tip the scales toward a move. Our U15 DS is a very strong tactical player but found it "boring" to play here as the coach always screamed at him just to kick it long even when he was trying to build a solid attack with his teammates. We've been here three years and have been underwhelmed by the coaches we've encountered (glorified P.E. instructors). He was losing interest in the game so we're excited about the change to move to a more professional and technical club.
The difference in quality will be immense. Sounds like a great move for him.
