The difference is the tulips I buy at giant are shipped in bulk...that’s why they’re only $7.99 a bunch.

Celebrities like Oprah have high end florists who will actually rush import specialty items and charge thousands for the service.

I wouldn’t have an issue if Oprah used a normal florist, but her florist to the stars most certainly cost a small fortune. And that is a disgusting display of wealth.

Some people can interpret and comprehend what they read. Others need exact words and thoughts laid out in front of them like a child. I think the point is that prior posters defending Oprah by equating her flowers—in terms of cost and carbon footprint—to the flowers normal people buy is absurd. It’s not the same thing. And boasting about it on social media makes it worse. [/quote]
