OP here. I’m in DC. Daughter at a private though not “Big3”. 
Not sure why you think I’m crazy, innocent or arrogant by my messages but ok. I’m just worried sick about my daughter. Almost 3 hours later we’ve heard nothing. That’s not normal by any stretch even if she wants to be with her friends and get comfort from them or at practice. Maybe I’m just old fashioned but I think that after all we’ve been through together to get to this point the very least she could do would be to send me and her dad a short text. The fact that she hasn’t communicated at all makes me very concerned. We can only conclude that she didn’t t get in and is seeking solace from her friends and that’s ok but am I wrong to expect at lest some communication?  I’m an older mom so perhaps I think differently. I don’t know. [/quote]
