Our local elementary school has an after care program where my kids go and it is open on closed school days as long as the school administrative offices are open. Here at MCPS the administrative offices are open which means that kidsco will be open for business at my school. Having children means you have to be flexible. Businesses cannot accommodate every child care need.[/quote] Many private companies allow managers to use their own discretion about permitting employees to work from home on snow days, and many do.
